Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to support junior high students in a middle school setting
located in Hobbs, NM. This contract position spans the current
school year, starting ASAP and concluding on May 22, 2026. The role
demands full-time commitment focused on providing specialized
instruction to meet the diverse needs of students requiring special
education services. Key Qualifications: Valid New Mexico Special
Education Teaching Certification Experience working with middle
school-aged students Strong knowledge of individualized education
plans (IEPs) and special education laws Ability to develop and
implement differentiated teaching strategies to support varied
learning needs Responsibilities include: Delivering tailored
instruction aligned with IEP goals to enhance student achievement
Collaborating with general education teachers, counselors, and
support staff to facilitate inclusive learning environments
Monitoring student progress through assessments and ongoing
evaluations Maintaining accurate records and reporting in
accordance with district and state requirements Engaging with
families and guardians to support student development and
