Description:We are currently seeking an exceptional Aerospace
Quality Manager to join our team in New Mexico. As a top-tier
Quality Manager in the aerospace industry, you will play a pivotal
role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and mission
success. With a focus on continuous improvement and a commitment to
excellence, you will have the opportunity to lead and shape our
quality program, driving us towards being in the top 25% of Quality
Managers for Aerospace.Responsibilities: (Aerospace Quality
Manager)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and effective quality
management system to meet and exceed industry standards and
customer requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and inspectors,
fostering a culture of quality and excellence throughout the
organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aerospace regulations,
standards, and certifications, such as AS9100.
- Conduct thorough internal and external audits to identify areas
for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Drive root cause analyses and facilitate problem-solving
initiatives to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality
processes and standards from design and development through to
production and delivery.
- Develop and maintain quality system documentation, including
procedures, work instructions, and guidelines.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing data-driven
decision-making and lean quality principles.
- Establish and track quality metrics to monitor performance and
drive accountability at all levels of the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging
technologies to enhance the quality program.Qualifications:
(Aerospace Quality Manager)
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of applied experience in quality management
within the aerospace industry.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with aerospace quality
standards, such as AS9100.
- Proven track record of driving quality improvements and
achieving exceptional results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and
motivate a team towards a common goal.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the
ability to facilitate root cause analyses and implement effective
corrective actions.
- Exceptional understanding of quality engineering, inspection
methods, production control, and manufacturing operations within
aerospace.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits, and
managing nonconformance processes.
- Familiarity with lean quality principles and continuous
improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and
stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ
Quality certifications are highly desirable.Benefits:
