Job Description:
Overview Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA),
Occupational Therapy, Part Time, Days, Roswell, NM. We are looking
for a Certified Occupational Therapist (COTA) to join our
Occupational Therapy team in Roswell, NM. This part time job is
located at Lovelace Regional Hospital- Roswell, NM which provides
24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient
rehabilitation, surgical services and birthing services for Roswell
and the surrounding community. Lovelace's presence in Roswell also
includes a primary and specialty care clinic to allow us to better
serve the residents of southeast New Mexico. Certified Occupational
Therapist Assistant Job Responsibilities: Provides therapy
treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive
and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps under
the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Adheres to
policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and
patient safety. Responsibilities Certified Occupational Therapist
Assistant Education and Experience Job Requirements Minimum:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Minimum: No
directly related experience Desired: One (1) year related
experience Ability to communicate effectively, provide quality
care, maintain concise and timely documentation, identify the need
for treatment implementation and function well in a team setting.
Licensed or licensure eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico; CPR
