Overview Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Full Time, Days, Roswell, NM. We are looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Physical Therapy team in Roswell, NM. This full-time job is located at Lovelace Regional Hospital which provides 24/7 emergency services, intensive care,inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical services and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community. Lovelace's presence in Roswell also includes a primary and specialty care clinic to allow us to better serve the residents of southeast New Mexico.

Responsibilities Physical Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities: Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Identifies and prioritizes patient problems and notifies Physical Therapist of areas of concerns with patient response. Qualifications Physical Therapy Assistant Education and Experience Requirements: Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant No direct experience required. Desired: One (1) year related experience Licensed or licensure eligible PTA in the State of New Mexico Current BLS Ability to communicate effectively, provide quality care, maintain concise and timely documentation, identify the need for treatment implementation and function well in a team setting Why Lovelace?
