Overview: The Lactation Educator teaches breast feeding and prenatal childbirthing classes for the facility. Also fulfills all the duties of the registered nurse profile. Must maintain Certification and CE's appropriate for a Lactation Counselor or IBCLC. Must register with the NM Board of Nursing Lactation Care Providers. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.
