Job Description:
Overview: The Lactation Educator teaches breast feeding and
prenatal childbirthing classes for the facility. Also fulfills all
the duties of the registered nurse profile. Type of Opportunity:

system Qualifications: Minimum of ADN education State of New Mexico
or Compact State Nursing License Certified Lactation Counselor or
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Must
maintain Certification and CE's appropriate for a Lactation
Counselor or IBCLC. Must register with the NM Board of Nursing
Lactation Care Providers. BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required.
