Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Staff Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient (Permanent Role) – Artesia, New Mexico Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8a–5p Primarily Outpatient, Occasional Inpatient Coverage Up to $8K Relocation Assistance We’re hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join the rehab team at a supportive, community-focused hospital in Artesia, NM. This is a permanent, benefits-eligible role offering relocation assistance, a steady Monday–Friday schedule, and opportunities to work across a variety of patient populations. Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Focus - Provide skilled interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist - Assist in carrying out treatment plans for orthopedic, neuro, and musculoskeletal conditions - Document services in accordance with state, federal, and facility requirements - Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence and safety - $8,000 Relocation Assistance (with receipts) - NM PTA License (or eligibility) and BLS required Why This Opportunity Stands Out: - Monday–Friday schedule, 8a–5p, closed 12–1 for lunch - Primarily outpatient, hospital-based setting with occasional flex to inpatient MS-Rehab - Diverse caseload: total joints, spine/shoulder/foot pain, TBI, stroke, Parkinson’s, and more - Weekend rotation only 1 in every 5 weeks (inpatient coverage) - Collaborative team with 2 PTs and strong interdisciplinary support - Full medical, dental, and vision benefits - PTO, retirement plans, and continuing education opportunities Not in Artesia but open to relocating?
