Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active
registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Provide expert nursing care in an Emergency Room
setting in Mescalero, NM, supporting patient needs through
assessment, treatment, and education. This contract opportunity
offers multiple shift options, enabling flexibility in scheduling
to accommodate your preferences. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
comprehensive nursing care following the ANA Scope and Standards of
Practice, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention,
and evaluation. Administer medications and treatments per
established protocols, monitoring patients for side effects and
treatment effectiveness. Document patient history, symptoms,
medication, and care provided accurately and timely. Address
complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of
patients and families. Provide patient and caregiver education,
identifying learning needs and available resources. Make
appropriate clinical assignments and delegate tasks to team members
to manage patient care effectively. Participate in the
organizational competency validations and ongoing professional
development as required. Qualifications & Experience: Current RN
License in state of employment or compact license. Current BLS,
ACLS, PALS certifications from AHA. Current TNCC certification.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year
experience in emergency nursing preferred. Completion of relevant
orientation and competency validation programs for new hires.
Schedule Details: Multiple shifts available. Six weekend days
required every six weeks. Two on-call shifts required every six
weeks. Floating assignments possible but unlikely due to census.
