Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Carlsbad, NM Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $1,403 to $1,446 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist - (RRT) StartDate: 2/16/2026 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1403.00 - $1446.00 RRT/ CRT needed asap for 13 weeks Night Shift 1730-0600 On Call - 2 Nights per Schedule Must have NBRC, CRT or RRT, BLS & NRP 13-week contracts No Block Scheduling Max Amount of RTO: 16 Hours No Floating Scrub Color: None Experience with Infant, Pediatric & Adult The Respiratory Therapist is either registered or certified by the National Board of Respiratory Care to provide Cardiopulmonary Services. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for following protocols approved by the medical staff and department policy and procedures in order to provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients. Responsibilities include: assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas, maintaining airways, ventilator management, insertion of arterial lines, intubations, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gases.
