Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Ruidoso, NM Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Ruidoso, New Mexico, 88345! Job Title: Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Surgical Nursing Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 8-10 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Two years current experience in specialty required; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment preferred License: State Nursing License Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. - EPIC experience preferred; training can be provided on-site. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.
