As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centered services and promote the highest quality of life for the individuals under your care. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of individualized habilitation plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and review individualized habilitation plans (IHPs) that promote independence, skill development, and integration in community settings. Provide supervision guidance and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those set forth by state and federal agencies. Advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their rights, choices, and inclusion within the community. This position has on-call responsibility. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field. - Must have one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a residential setting. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams. - Ability to assess needs, develop strategies, and monitor progress towards individualized goals. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate documentation and meet deadlines.
