Description The EMT Advanced is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The Advanced EMT must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Required Qualifications: - Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. - Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License upon hire or, - Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License upon hire. - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
