Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 48 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele day shift position requiring a NM or compact RN license and weekend rotation. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting - Patient ratios typically 1:6 - Day shifts consist of four 12-hour shifts, 6:00 to 18:30 - Every other weekend is required - EPIC charting experience is preferred - First-time travelers are eligible for this position - Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler - Travel pairs or groups are not accepted - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved, and no time off is permitted during the first week of orientation /n /n Requirements/n - Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Tele experience required - 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred - EPIC charting experience preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-653177.
