This trusted Acute Care Hospital in Eastern New Mexico is actively
interviewing for a new Vice President of Operations to oversee
Inpatient and Outpatient Services. Join a fantastic Executive team,

outcomes and hospital operations.
Known for offering a wide array of Inpatient and Outpatient Service
lines to heal the community, this New Mexico Medical Center has
earned a great reputation. The Vice President of Hospital
Operations will join a facility that’s earned excellent marks in
Diabetes Care & Prevention, has been recognized as an industry
leader for its use of technological solutions, and is fully
accredited in all Ancillary Services. The VP’s hand will guide the
operations of these fast-paced case departments, overseeing both
the strategic and tactical aspects of Inpatient Operations.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President
will play a central role in leading Hospital Operations across a
wide array of service lines. Directly reporting to the VP, and
supporting clinical operations, are tenured and experienced
Directors who oversee Ancillary / Allied Service Lines. Included in
this is a Director of Radiology who leads a fully-equipped
department capable of CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and
more. Also supporting the VP is a Director who leads the CAP
Accredited Inpatient & Outpatient Laboratory, a strong IP/OP
Pharmacy Operations Director, an RD Licensed Director of Nutrition,
and an outstanding Risk Management team.
The VP of Operations will have a strong grasp of the financial and
budgetary aspects of actively managing multiple Inpatient
department, in addition to a familiarity with the financial
environment of hospitals and healthcare in general. The trends,
laws, and regulations that create our modern healthcare system will
be second nature. This person will analyze how the hospital
utilizes its resources, and have opportunities to affect tangible
change in the ways throughput is addressed across the facility.
A key element of this crucial role is your ability to communicate
effectively across departmental and organization boundaries. The
Vice President of Operations will work closely with internal and
external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations across the
continuum of care and throughout the community. This means that the
VP will get the opportunity to forge new alliances, and to grow new
service lines within the area.
