Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Artesia, NM Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,684 per week Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/29/2026 About the Position ID: 76788091 Shift: 8H Days M-F 8-5, Weekend Rotation (1 every 5)- covering inpatient units. Description: Unit : Physical Therapy | PTAArtesia has modules that must be completed prior to the clinician working the floor. Email sent from Client allows for billing of module work up to 6 hours.- of patients treated per day: 8 to 10.- General Certification Requirements: PT State License, BLS,- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Total joints, back/shoulder/foot pain, some neuro (TBI, stroke, Parkinson's). Pt Pop: Juvenile (typically 5)- Geriatrics.- Job Duties: Implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, report progress to PT, guide patient through functional exercises and equipment use, document patient progress, and maintain open communication with PT and patient. - Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient?: Mixed, primarily hospital based outpatient PT, with a chance to be asked to flex in the inpatient MS- Rehab unit.- What areas are they required to cover?: Primarily hospital based outpatient PT.- Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Must have 1 year of outpatient PTA experience. Would consider someone with inpatient only experience. Will accept first time travelers.- Shifts & Scheduling: M-F 8-5, closed from 12-1 for lunch.- Weekend Requirements: Weekend Rotation (1 every 5)- covering inpatient units.- Holiday Requirements: May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Business Casual (Collard shirt, khaki/black pants) or solid colored scrubs.- Department specific orientation: 1-2 shifts with a preceptor.Date Entered: 6/11/2025 Cancellation Policy:2 shifts per 13 week assignment Charting - Evident BSN License to Trauma Level: Care Shift 8-5, Weekend Rotation (1 every 5)- covering inpatient units.
